U-Wing Review
Hey there everybody, thought I'd drop in with my thoughts on the new 3.75 U-Wing-The main vehicle to come out for Rogue One. As far as we know this, the Tie Striker, and the AT-ACT are the only vehicles we will be getting. Personally I think the Hovertank and AT-ST are already sorely missing from the line though. But so it is that we at least have the amazingly cool U-Wing!
And I have to say, it is a fantastic vehicle. It feels much more solid than most of the Force Awakens vehicles.
Features are mainly the retractable wings and pop out Nerf blaster. The Nerf canon isn't the best choice seeing as how it omits the troop transport option, but at least it's hidden.
The flight mode retractable wings however are amazing, and extends the scale of the vehicle by half.
As you can see, it is still off in scale for sure-even though it is sizeable. It still manages to sit nicely displayed with the figures though, thanks in part to the iconic design. The cockpit only sits one, so it could really use a standard U-Wing pilot to go in there to at least complete the Kenner feel.
It comes with Cassian Andor packed in, and while he's not as well tooled as other 5POA figures-I think he has the best likeness in terms of his look in the trailers. The scruffy chin is well done, just be sure and check the eyes and jacket for any paint errors.
A big plus, and I hope Hasbro knows how much we appreciate this, is the LANDING GEAR. This was the most sorely lacking thing in the TFA vehicles line. It let's the U-Wing sit properly and look good next to standing figures.
Overall, I think the U-Wing is the best vehicle we have gotten from Hasbro post 2013. The TFA Tie Fighter is good, and the X-Wing was decent, but they don't quite feel worth the money compared against the amazing history of past Star Wars vehicles.
My only real issue with this vehicle as it is; Two of the four engine cowlings don't fully click in and seal the gap. From other reviews this looks the same across the board, and must be a small design flaw. It's barely noticeable however and doesn't detract from the look of feel.
As for price, I paid about $35 for it bundled with the Target Force Friday coupon, and feel it was well worth it. The retail price as it stands is $45-50, Target being the best with it at $45. I imagine these will be plentiful and there will be lots of chances to get it at a low price, especially on Amazon.
So that's about it, let me know if you have any questions! I love the U-Wing and highly recommend picking it up. And make sure to fly it around! Have fun, be safe, and May the Force be with you!

Go Rogue in 3.75!
Hey everybody! Today I thought we'd check out the first wave of Rogue One 3.75 figures. I've just about played with and/or bought all of them now, and have the pictures to prove it. Let's take a look!
This is my favorite picture I've done with the U-Wing yet.
The daring Rebels.
Later on, I found the first inkling of Wave 2, and another critical member of the Rogue One team, Baze Malbus! He comes exclusively in this two pack with a Stormtrooper officer, which is a pretty great set. Baze himself is a really fantastic figure, barring the 5 point articulation stance. Seeing as how this is likely all we get for Baze in this scale (and the amount of figures needing to be released) he should do just fine alongside any 3.75 figures.
"We fight the Empire now..."
The newly sculpted 5POA Stormtrooper is really cool. Maybe the best sculpted helmet in this scale ever done by Hasbro.
And lastly, the Imperial ground crew. Traffic controllers for Tie Fighters. Such a great addition to the universe, and a great figure as well. Overall, Wave 1 has seen some of the best figures Hasbro has put forth in this new era of Star Wars collecting. Unless you are like me and wholly sold on everything Rogue One, casual collecting fans might have only a few items interest you-but you may seek them out once you see the film.
If I had to recommend any to those limiting themselves, I would say the must gets from Wave 1 3.75 Rogue One are K2-S0, the Baze Malbus/Stormtrooper 2 pack, and the Moroff/Shoretrooper 2-Pack. K2 will likely be a stand out droid, and when he is standing over your other figures he's quite the sight. Baze is a great value with the even better painted Stormtrooper included, and the Shoretrooper is maybe one of my most favorites, to my surprise.
Wave 1 is being restocked much more plentifully than Wave 1 of The Force Awakens, Target being your best bet for finding them all in one spot right now. If you are looking for something, let me know in the comments- or tweet me @epcotservo! Also send me your own toy finds or fun photos and I may feature them on the site! Thanks for reading, stay safe and remember to Register to Vote! And of course, May the Force be with you!

Rogue Friday Recap
Sorry for the long delay in posts everyone, was off on a grand trip out west with Rey here. But now I'm back and we have lots of Rogue One loot to cover! Let's start with a look at how the weekend release went...
Walmart, nearly as expected, had no idea Rogue One was even a thing. 3.75 figures were put out though, and managed to get my priority- Sabine, along with K2-S0. Along with a whole group of various collector of all sorts hanging around, we waited until Midnight. Finally some employees were nice enough to go through the back and pull some stuff out. You guessed it...Chewbacca masks. And one box that some employee had tried to hide the Black Series in. Stuff was found, but the mismanagement of the Walmart distribution of toys still boggles my mind.
The next day however, as hoped for, Target came through! A huge amount of goods in plentiful numbers were snatched up in moments. With the awesome $10 or $25 coupon happening yet again, they have established themselves as the best place to buy Star Wars toys on release days.
And with a display like this, who could doubt it!
Disney Springs World of Disney was an unexpected pleasure island! They had everything...EVERYTHING.
Once Upon a Toy's stock was faster moving, but equally impressive...
And a big hooray for those who don't yet have it...The Starspeeder 1000 is back!
The new Rebels Speederbike repaint...
More display goodness...
And finally, my Rogue Friday loots!
That's about it for the recap, though the hunt for more new stuff continues. Look for reviews and pictures coming later, with more store reports! Until then, happy playing and May the Force be with you!
