Zu Zu Zuuviiiooooo!

Hey everybody and welcome to ST45 collecting. It's probably your first post, and it's mine too. Heh heh. So this site is going to be pretty casual, not so much reviews as it is fun looking over Star Wars and Indy collectibles from my collection, new acquisitions, fun thoughts, toy hunting and clearance alerts, and of course talking about all the toys and action figures yet to come!

First off we're starting with a bit of news and a new acquisition- As you may know: Begun, the clearances have. Even Walmart sometimes does not know this, such as in this case. Across the board most walmarts have marked The Force Awakens 3.75 Build A Weapon series to only $4! Only some stores have not changed the tag. (Always price check!) A great deal to be sure, so check your stores' stock as soon as you can.

So at long last I picked up a figure we're all no doubt both familiar and unfamiliar with: Constable Zuvio...

I remember first seeing him in person on Force Friday 2015 as they rolled the stock out onto the floor. An excited young fan was looking over them before we were allowed to buy them, his comment being that Zuvio looked like Embo from the Clone Wars, which was very true. Only it turns out, Embo had scenes. Zuvio's legend continued to grow. When no other figure could be found, there was Zuvio. Where nothing had been restocked, there was more Zuvio. Wherever there is injustice on Jakku, you can count on Zuvio to be there.

Now I for one think the Zuvio situation has been overstated, but that's just really part of the magic and fun that is Zuvio. To me the big problem was obvious from Day 1: Why Zuvio in the Six Inch Black Series line? I recall hoping he was kind of a big deal in TFA, so that his figures would sell. Alas, many large Zuvios are still out there and awaiting buyers. I for one, bought this Zuvio.

I think he's a fun figure in the 3.75 scale. He has a surprisingly nice amount of movement in the ball joint head. He can even pose a two handed hold on his spear unlike most of the 5 point articulation figures. And he's a nice looking alien, much akin to snaggletooth or hammer head. And he's actually in scarcer numbers than you'd think, with only four of these between both walmarts in my area. And I think the Black Series dilemma cast a shadow over poor Zuvio and stole the spotlight from the real peg warmer: Goss Toowers. That guy is still everywhere around here.

That's about it, thanks for reading and May the Force be with you!
